04/118 PLANNING MATTERS

The planning sub group reported on application and decisions

04/119 COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION – UPDATE & TOMMY HULATT

It was reported that the event had been a great success and a meeting of the working group would consider making this an annual event and would organise the replacement of the plaques to reflect the role played by Councillor S Patrick. A vote of thanks was given to all those involved.

04/120 PARISH CEMETERY

It was reported that a number of complaints had been received regarding the length of grass but that examinations of the Cemetery had identified that the ground was far too wet to allow the use of heavy machines. The first cut was scheduled as soon as considered practical but that because of the sodden conditions the first cut had left the cemetery in a very untidy state.

IT WAS RESOLVED that a petrol strimmer and blower be purchased not to exceed £500 to allow the ranger to keep Parish property in good order and that the District Of Bolsover be contacted to review the situation
